Our policies help us provide safe, timely, and respectful care for everyone. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming environment for all patients and staff.
Our Culture
We are committed to providing a warm, approachable, and respectful atmosphere. Our physicians and staff are kind, compassionate, and professional and we ask that all interactions with our team be courteous and respectful in return.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Any form of verbal abuse, aggressive behavior, or mistreatment of staff or doctors will not be tolerated. Patients engaging in inappropriate conduct may be refused service or discharged from the clinic.
Arrival at the clinic
Arrive 10 minutes early to complete check-in, update forms, and have any required vitals taken.
Bring your Alberta Health Care Card to every visit.
If your contact information has changed, please let reception know before your appointment.
You may be asked the reason for your visit to ensure you are booked for the appropriate amount of time.
Walk-In & Same-Day Appointments
Walk-in availability depends on patient volume and may close early if capacity is reached.

No narcotics, benzodiazepines, or controlled medications are prescribed during walk-in visits.
If you need to see your doctor urgently, we will try our best to accommodate you based on your concern’s urgency and the doctor’s availability.
- Forms will not be accepted as walk-in requests.
Waiting times
We do our best to see every patient promptly. High patient volume or medical emergencies may cause delays. Your patience is appreciated.
Prescription Refills
All refills require an appointment (in-person or virtual).
We do not automatically refill prescriptions that pharmacists request on your behalf.
Plan ahead and book your appointment 4–6 weeks before running out of medication.
Staff will not take phone messages for refill requests.
Check your prescription bottle or call your pharmacy to confirm remaining refills.
Refills cannot be sent to pharmacies outside of Alberta.
Cancellations | No-Shows | Lateness
We require 24 hours’ notice before cancelling or rescheduling a booked appointment.
Appointments are in high demand an early cancellation allows another patient to be seen.
We understand life happens and there will be exceptions, but please be aware that missing more than two appointments may result in a no-show fee.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for complete physicals, prenatal visits, baby exams, and IUD insertions.
Forms & Paperwork
Certain forms (e.g., AISH, CPP, DTC, disability forms, insurance forms) require a booked appointment and prior approval from your physician.
Forms will not be accepted as walk-in requests.
Some forms may require multiple visits to complete.

Mask Policy
If you have cough, cold, or flu symptoms, please wear a mask while inside the clinic. Masks are available at reception
Waiting Room Etiquette
Be respectful of others’ personal space and keep device volumes low or muted.
Keep children supervised; no climbing on furniture or blocking entrances. Avoid laying across seating.
Take your belongings with you when called.
Getting Test Results
Our medical office assistants are not medically trained to discuss results over the phone unless directed by a physician
Depending on your doctor’s discretion, results may be shared by phone or in person.
You may be contacted to book an appointment to discuss results if necessary.
Online Booking & Communication
We offer online booking for regular visits here
Please do not email the clinic to book appointments or request medical advice.
After-Hours Care
For medical concerns outside regular hours, call 811.
You may be referred to the out-of-hours clinic run by the Mosaic Primary Care Network.
In emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Confidentiality
We require written consent from patients before releasing any medical information to a third party, including law firms, insurance companies, or family members.
